First: The Municipality of Marwahin
UFL took the initiative to cooperate with members of the municipality board to address the outrageous violations that were carried out by a number of heads and members of municipality boards, including the municipality board of Marwahin. For this purpose, UFL filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor on March 16, 2017. In conclusion, a court decision against the defendants was made with a travel ban until the trial is over and the extent of the current violation is determined.
Recorded violations included the following:
- Turning public properties into private ones through illegal means
- Forging contracts and using public posts for personal interests
- Embezzling donations and financial aid offered to the municipalities by forging bills and using them outside of their legal framework
- Nepotism and mediation for the benefit of the entourage and relatives
The Municipality of Debbine
On January 2, 2020, UFL lawyers filed a criminal charge with the Competent Judicial Authority through the President of the Higher Judicial Council against the head of the Debbine municipality, a number of its members, and other perpetrators. They were charged with forging, using fake documents, embezzling, wasting money, issuing threats, and improperly grabbing public funds.

UFL continues to follow up on cases related to other municipalities in which similar violations are committed.
