Even the law of the jungle no longer applies in the “Lebanese Jungle of Corruption,” as the criminality of the corrupt authority has reached an unbearable and indescribable extent!

The depositor, Doctor Pascal Rassi of dual nationality, French and Lebanese (which he officially filed for abandoning two weeks ago) and on complete Hunger Strike who is unjustly and arbitrarily detained by the advocates of corruption for the crime of exposing corruption and speaking only the truth, is completely stripped of the rights of litigation and defence. Today, June 12, is the fifth day since his freedom was arbitrarily and tyrannically detained, and despite the fact that his lawyers were listed in the report of the “preliminary investigations,” he was taken in secret to the Beirut Justice Department, without informing his lawyers at all, to appear yesterday morning before the First Investigating Judge of Beirut, Bilal Halawi. This followed the Public Prosecution of Appeal in Beirut charging him with the crime of “contempt of the judiciary.” All this without any notification to his wife or his lawyers, that the judge neglected -- his lawyers who then submitted a request to release him yesterday afternoon -- written in the hearing minutes, and the session was postponed to “appoint a lawyer” until June 13, 2024!

Rassi’s wife, Valerie Foullet, was shocked when she visited him for the first time yesterday, after being denied a visit since his arrest, accompanied by depositors and lawyers, at his place of detention by the “Sham Road Platoon,” due to what she discovered of “lies, misleading and deception” about his health condition and the state of his hunger strike, since, completely contrary to what she and his lawyers were informed, his health condition was deteriorating. Because of his “complete hunger strike for food, water and medicine” since his arrest last Saturday night; except for his high spirits and spirit!

Foullet and her husband, who insisted to apply to renounce his Lebanese nationality two weeks ago, hold French nationalities; she immediately after the visit went to the “French Consulate” complaining in astonishment!

Is this what “Lebanon, the nation of the human” has become? Are we still “Lebanese” as the world used to know us, as we claim? Rassi said it during his arrest, “What did you do to my country?”

Yes, he is the “biggest criminal” and “the biggest corrupt person,” and the Lebanese judiciary, which follows the orders of the heads of the corruption militia that has permeated the state and is clamping down on the necks of depositors and the Lebanese on behalf of the monsters of money and banks. Not a single financial criminal or thief has been arrested yet!!

Depositors; Lebanese; How do you accept all this?! What a humiliating life do you live and accept? How do you accept that someone who stole your life savings and the future of your children and continued to humiliate you? Who then oppressed and harmed a depositor with a right to remain free while the depositor is oppressed and imprisoned, and everyone who was not affected by the “abject blackout” or “abject silence,” and all are watching?!

Pascal Rassi is a decent, peaceful and essentially sensitive citizen who struggles despite his chronic illness with Fibromayalgia. He did not spare any formal door without knocking on it, and the last of that was the door of the “Judicial Inspection Authority,” which was also blocked in his face after all the other doors were blocked.

Valerie Foullet calls on every depositor and Lebanese with a living conscience to support them in a solidarity sit-in in front of the “Palace of Justice” in Beirut this Thursday morning, starting at 10 am.

Son épouse, Valérie Fouillet, a appelé jeudi matin à prendre position en solidarité avec lui devant le Palais de Justice de Beyrouth.

Même la loi de la jungle ne s’applique plus dans la « jungle libanaise de la corruption », car la criminalité du pouvoir corrompu a atteint une ampleur insupportable et indescriptible !

Le déposant, Dr. Pascal Rassi, injustement et arbitrairement détenu par les partisans de la corruption pour le délit de dénoncer la corruption et de ne dire que ce qui est vrai et rien que la vérité, est totalement privé de ses droits de poursuite, de contentieux et de défense. Aujourd'hui, le 12 juin, quatrième jour depuis que sa liberté a été arbitrairement et tyranniquement détenue, et bien que l'action de ses représentants légaux ait été prouvée dans le rapport des « enquêtes préliminaires », il a été emmené en secret au ministère de la Justice de Beyrouth, sans en informer du tout ses avocats, pour comparaître ce matin devant le premier juge d'instruction de Beyrouth, Bilal Halawi, car le parquet d'appel de Beyrouth l'a inculpé du délit d'« outrage au pouvoir judiciaire. » Tout cela sans aucune notification à son épouse ou à ses avocats, car le juge a négligé le mandat de ses avocats - qui ont déposé une demande de libération cet après-midi - fixés dans le procès-verbal susmentionné, et l'audience a été reportée au 13 juin 2024, afin de « désigner un avocat » !

Valérie Fouillet , épouse de Dr. Rassi, a été choquée, cet après-midi, lorsqu'elle lui a rendu visite pour la première fois, accompagnée de déposants et d'avocats, sur son lieu de détention par le «peloton de la route de Damas », en raison de ce qu'elle a découvert de « mensonges, duperie et tromperie » sur son état de santé et sur l’état de sa grève de la faim, puisque, contrairement à ce que son avocat et elle ont été informés, son état de santé se détériore à cause de sa « grève totale de la faim » ( nourriture, eau et médicaments) depuis son arrestation samedi dernier… Oh mon Dieu, sauf sa bonne humeur et son esprit!

Fouillet - qui détient et son époux, qui a demandé à renoncer à sa nationalité libanaise il y a deux semaines, la nationalité française - immédiatement après la visite, s’est rendue au «Consulat de France» en se plaignant, stupéfaite!

Est-ce là ce qu’est devenu le « Liban, patrie de l’homme » ? Sommes-nous toujours « Libanais » comme le monde nous connaissait, comme nous le prétendons ? Dr. Rassi avait raison lorsqu’il a déclaré lors de son arrestation : «Qu’avez-vous fait à mon pays? »

Oui, le système judiciaire libanais, le «plus grand criminel» et «le plus grand corrompu », suivant les ordres des chefs de la milice de corruption qui a imprégné l’État et s’acharnant sur les déposants et les Libanais, au service des monstres de l'argent et des banques, est le « bien au-dessus» de tout mépris ou outrage. Aucun voleur criminel n’a déjà été arrêté !!!

Déposants Libanais comment acceptez-vous tout cela ?! Quelle vie humiliante vivez-vous et tolérez-vous? Comment acceptez-vous que quelqu'un qui a volé votre vie et l'avenir de vos enfants et a continué à vous humilier, ait ensuite opprimé et porté atteinte à un déposant ayant le droit de rester libre ?! Le déposant est opprimé et emprisonné, alors que tous ceux qui n'ont pas été touchés par le « black-out abject » ou le «vil silence» contemplent ?!

Pascal Rassi est un citoyen honnête, courtois et essentiellement sensible, luttant malgré sa maladie chronique. Il a frappé toutes les portes, dont la dernière a été celle de «l’autorité de l'Inspection Judiciaire», qu’on lui a également fermée au nez, après toutes les autres issues.

Valérie Fouillet appelle tous les déposants et Libanais ayant une conscience vive à les soutenir dans un sit-in de solidarité devant le «Palais de Justice» à Beyrouth ce jeudi matin, à partir de dix heures.
