After Noun’s arrested, Ollaik responds: The deep state mafia hides behind the security services

Lawyer Rami Ollaik stated a while ago in front of the Information Division building in response to the arrest of William Noun and his companions, that what happened today is very dangerous and is a sequel to what happened with Noun yesterday. And currently the Mafia responsible of the deep state is hiding behind the security services, and the latest statement of the ministry of interior affairs is very clear in holding accountable whomever trespasses properties. He added “with the escalation of the situation this far, we say enough is enough. The judiciary has faced its deepest fall, and this is no longer within partisanships and the conflict among them, but the basis today is that they want to suppress everybody and prevent them from expressing their opinion”.

He continued that after they have robbed people’s life savings, and humiliated them, and made them beggars in their homeland, it has become necessary for everyone to unite against those responsible and there is no other way than to take the right by hand in accordance with the right of legitimate public defense as stated in Article 184 of the Penal Code, which justifies committing the offense to defend own money and soul and even others’. The text is clear and there are no choices but to make the last confrontation hand in hand and stand against everyone involved no matter how high his rank is.

He concluded saying: “you cannot intimidate us; we call on everyone to rise up and storm the houses of parliamentarians and ministers, and everyone who contributed to the killing of the Lebanese people. We will also be by the side of all those demanding their rights. What happened today with the youth is unacceptable, and this is enough. The upcoming will be the path to restore our rights by hand”.
